DENVER (AP) - Joe Edwards scored 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting to help lead IPFW past Denver 63-47 on Thursday night.

Steve Forbes finished with 14 points and six rebounds and Mo Evans added 10 points and three steals for the Mastodons (15-11, 8-5 Summit League), who have won seven straight, their longest winning streak since the 1992-93 season.

IPFW was efficient offensively, hitting 20 of its 32 field-goal attempts (62.5 percent) while dishing out 14 assists. The Mastodons are 13-2 this season when shooting over 50 percent from the field.

IPFW trailed just once in the first half and led 28-23 at the break. They followed that up with a 16-0 run midway through the second half to push their lead past double digits.

Brett Olson scored 18 points for Denver (10-16, 4-9) which has lost six of seven.
