CAMBRIDGE, Vt. (AP) - Emergency management officials are asking residents in the Vermont village of Jeffersonville to conserve water while a break in a water line is repaired.

Officials said Thursday that water reservoirs were critically low and it appeared that no water was flowing from the spring to feed the reservoirs.

Officials say deep frost is causing lines to break.

Anyone who sees water pooling in an unusual area in Jeffersonville is asked to notify village officials or to contact Cambridge Emergency Management at 802-644-6601.
