LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police have identified a man who died in a shooting that also injured three others at a motel on Little Rock’s southwest side.

A police spokeswoman says officers found Michael Strickland dead with a gunshot wound Tuesday.

A Little Rock man, who was among the three injured, was arrested on drug and gun-related charges in the incident. The man was shot in both legs and allegedly had marijuana and cocaine in his possession. He was being held in jail late Wednesday.

The other two men also were hospitalized in the shooting. Authorities say one was shot in the leg. The other was shot in the chest, and his condition wasn’t immediately known.

Police believe the shooting stemmed from an argument that escalated outside a motel room.
