GREENVILLE, Miss. (AP) - A second man has been arrested in the shooting death of a Greenville teenager Monday morning.

Assistant Police Chief Delando Wilson tells the Delta Democrat Times (https://bit.ly/1vjcRA4 ) that 20-year-old Arzavis Jackson of Greenville was charged Tuesday is charged with murder and attempted murder.

Wilson says 17-year-old Jaylor Vaughn was found shot by officers responding to a call about a shooting. Police say Vaughn had been shot several times. Vaughn died at Delta Regional Medical Center.

Police earlier arrested 18-year-old Waddarren Lawrence of Greenville on charges in the slaying. Lawrence is charged with murder and attempted murder.

Initial court appearances were pending. It was unclear if Jackson and Lawrence have attorneys. They are being held in the Washington County jail.
