DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Greg Mays and Daeshon Francis scored 14 points apiece and Green Bay handled Wright State 71-58 on Monday.

It was a career-high for the freshman Francis, who was a perfect 7 of 7 from the floor.

Green Bay (18-5, 7-2 Horizon) scored the first seven points of the game, built a 16-3 lead in the first 5 ½ minutes and led 37-25 at the break.

Justin Mitchell made 1 of 2 from the line with 15:33 left to draw Wright State within nine, but that’s the closest the Raiders got in the second half.

Francis’ dunk - off a steal by Carrington Love - pushed the lead over 20, 69-46, with 5:26 left.

Keifer Sykes had 13 points and six assists for Green Bay. Jordan Fouse scored 11 points with 11 rebounds and Alfonzo McKinnie added 10 points.

Michael Karena led Wright State (11-12, 3-6) with 17 points and eight rebounds.
