HOUSTON (AP) - A Houston rapper has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for forcing a girl into prostitution after meeting her online and taking her to a music studio.

Jeremy Jacobi Scott was sentenced Monday in Houston for exploiting a 14-year-old girl.

The 30-year-old Scott last June pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor.

Federal prosecutors say Scott in 2011 became acquainted with the girl online, then started picking her up at home and school. Investigators say Scott gave marijuana to the teen and took her to a studio where he recorded songs about violence and using women.

Scott used a cellphone to photograph the girl and advertise her online for prostitution.

Officers rescued the girl after about a month of her being with Scott.
