LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a 66-year-old man was found dead in the snow in downtown Lincoln.

Officer Katie Flood says officers responded to a report Monday morning that an unresponsive man was lying in the snow near The Kennard House, a historic Lincoln building. She tells the Lincoln Journal Star (https://bit.ly/1zNq3z5 ) Thomas Buecker was transported to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Flood says police don’t suspect foul play.

Buecker worked for the Nebraska State Historical Society.
