ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - The St. Johnsbury town school is beefing up security after a burglary that resulted in a stolen camera and laptop computer.

Superintendent Ranny Bledsoe says the thief or thieves broke a window to get into the school recently. She says police did get collect evidence, including fingerprints.

At a meeting last week, school directors decided to set a burglar alarm that was in place when the burglary occurred, but it was not armed.

The Caledonian Record (https://bit.ly/1K3iHZM ) reports the school is also planning to buy eight security cameras for around $15,000.
