MOUNTAIN VILLAGE, Alaska (AP) - A 35-year-old convicted sex offender in a southwest Alaska village has been charged with furnishing home brew to juveniles.

Alaska State Troopers say Allan Regis of Mountain Village was arrested Saturday.

Troopers say he produced the alcohol and provided it to multiple juveniles.

He is charged with felony counts of failure to register as a sex offender, furnishing alcohol to juveniles as a sex offender and selling alcohol without a license.

He’s also charged with misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency minors, reckless endangerment, assault, harassment and weapons misconduct.

Mountain Village is a community of 857 on the Yukon River about 470 miles west of Anchorage. Alcohol is prohibited in the dry community.

Regis is jailed in Bethel.
