BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have confirmed that a body found near a trailhead north of Boulder is that of a runner missing since last week.

The body of 52-year-old Randal Scott Evans was found Wednesday morning by another runner near Cobalt Trail.

Boulder County Sheriff’s Cmdr. Heidi Prentup said the body had probably been there for several days because it was covered in snow. There was no sign of foul play.

The Daily Camera (https://bit.ly/1ASwwct) reports that Evans, a marathon runner, left his home Feb. 13 in jogging clothes without a cell phone or wallet.
