NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - Charles Nations, a former deputy and director of the Adams County juvenile justice center, has pleaded guilty to embezzling $173,000 from the center.

The 48-year-old Nations entered the plea Thursday.

Adams County Circuit Court Judge Forrest A. Johnson sentenced Nations to 15 years with five years suspended, leaving 10 years to serve. Nations also was given five years’ post-release supervision.

The judge ordered Nations to pay restitution of $173,000 plus interest.
