MILFORD, N.H. (AP) - The latest New Hampshire school to evacuate because of heavy snow on the roof is Milford.

Milford High School was evacuated Friday. About 850 students and 100 staff were moved to the middle school due to a partial roof collapse. Officials said a ceiling in a classroom fell 3 to 4 inches.

Firefighters are assessing the damage.

A group of school districts have been dealing with snow buildup issues this week.

The school district in Epping remained closed Friday for snow removal and repairs after cracks were seen around the doorways of some classrooms Monday.

Newton and Madbury also have dealt with roof concerns.
