PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police are searching for a suspect in the fatal shooting of a limousine driver in North Philadelphia.

They say witnesses reported two men approaching and firing at least four shots on the car near a train station in the city’s Olney section around 9 p.m. Thursday.

The 44-year-old driver was wounded in the chest. The limousine crashed into a pole.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Police didn’t release his name.

Chief Inspector Scott Small says the suspects fled on foot. Police are reviewing surveillance video. The investigation is continuing.

A man was found dead in his car in another shooting about three hours later.

Small says the 39-year-old victim was shot in the face and head around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in the city’s Allegheny West neighborhood.
