SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A 42-year-old man has been arrested on an aggravated murder charge in the shooting death of another man in Salt Lake City.

Jeremiah Hart was booked Thursday into the Salt Lake County Jail in the Jan. 24 death of 24-year-old Christian McDonald of West Valley City.

Police say the shooting in Sugar House stemmed from a robbery, but declined comment about it or the relationship between the two men.

Hart was treated for a gunshot wound at a local hospital after the shooting.

He also was arrested for investigation of obstruction of justice, aggravated robbery, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His 22-year-old wife, Daisy Hart, also was arrested Thursday for investigation of obstruction of justice.

She’s accused of lying to detectives about the case.
