HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Police say a gunfight in a Huntsville neighborhood sent bullets flying into homes and vehicles and likely wounded a man found shot nearby.

Al.com reports (https://bit.ly/1FC3YoQ ) witnesses on Uvalde lane told police multiple gunshots were exchanged Thursday night between someone in a black SUV and a person standing outside. A man was found suffering from a bullet wound in nearby neighborhood, and police suspect he was injured during the gunfight.

Police said three houses and two vehicles were struck by bullets, but nobody else was injured. Investigators haven’t determined if the injured man was one of the shooters.
