CLEVELAND (AP) - An Ohio man who got out of prison last fall after serving a sentence for sexual battery has been convicted of more charges connected to sexual assaults in the 1990s.

Prosecutors in Cleveland said Thursday that 54-year-old Dwayne Wilson was found guilty by a jury of nine counts of sexual assault and three counts of kidnapping for crimes he committed between 1994 and 1997.

Wilson was connected to four unsolved sexual assaults - including one with a 16-year-old victim - recently through DNA testing of a backlog of rape kits.

State prison records show Wilson was released from prison in October after serving more than four years of a five-year sentence for sexual battery.

Sentencing is March 26.
