WIGGINS, Miss. (AP) - A preliminary hearing is set for March 18 for three people arrested in a Ramsey Springs murder-for-hire killing, one of whom is the wife of the slain businessman.

The hearing will be before Stone County Justice Court Judge Ricky Farmer.

Jody Robert Parks, 21, is charged with capital murder in the Jan. 24 death of Timothy “Timmy” Garrison Sr., at a business Garrison co-owned. Parks is being held without bond in the county jail.

Garrison’s wife, Evelyn Garrison, 51, and Parks’ cousin Emmett E. Entrekin, 64, who is Evelyn Garrison’s childhood neighbor from Saucier, are each charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Parks remains jailed without bond, and Entrekin and Evelyn Garrison are each jailed on $1 million cash bonds.

Bond has been set at $1 million each for Evelyn Garrison and Entrekin.

Authorities said the night of Garrison’s death Evelyn Garrison called 911 after finding her husband’s body in the front yard of their business.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1w4XOKV ) an autopsy showed Garrison had been beaten about the head and stabbed, mostly in the neck area.

Authorities said a baseball bat believed used to kill Garrison was found in a wooded area in Harrison County. They are still looking some sort of knife believed to have been used in the attack.
