GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office plans to resume searching the Powder River for a 4-year-old girl who fell through the ice almost two weeks ago.

Sheriff Steve Kozisek says the new search effort on Saturday will be contingent on whether conditions are safe.

Kozisek tells the Gillette News Record (https://bit.ly/1BvOZeD ) that conditions in and along the river have been poor so far.

He says rescuers and cadaver dogs from neighboring counties will join the search effort.

Chevell Boshaw-Evans went missing Feb. 8 after she and her father fell through the ice.

Police were able to help the father out of the water, but the girl was lost.
