LAS VEGAS (AP) - A cyclist is dead after a collision involving two cars on Bonanza Road in Las Vegas Monday.

Police say the 50-year-old man was traveling west on a mountain bike in the left lane when he was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Trailblazer about 11:40 a.m.

Las Vegas police say another driver in a Toyota Tundra then hit the Trailblazer from behind near Prescott Street.

The bicyclist was killed at the scene. The women driving the two cars weren’t hurt.

The man’s name wasn’t immediately released.

Police say this is the ninth traffic fatality this year.
