LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a residential burglary call turned into a drug bust when officers found pounds of narcotics, thousands of pills, sheets of the drug LSD and $150,000 in cash inside a home east of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Police said they arrested several people in connection with the burglary call but the investigation into the drugs was ongoing hours after officers arrived Tuesday morning at the house in the 2000 block of Brassy Drive.

Police say officers found a quarter-pound of cocaine, more than 100 pounds of marijuana, more than 30 pounds of psychedelic mushrooms and a couple thousand ecstasy pills.

Police spokesman Jesse Roybal says he doesn’t have any additional details about the original call to authorities reporting the burglary or information about the home’s ownership.
