VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) - Corban Wroe scored back-to-back baskets and Nate Sikma added a layup as Hartford used a late-game 9-4 spurt to stay ahead of Binghamton and defeat the Bearcats 62-61 Tuesday night.

The win snaps a four-game losing skid for Hartford (12-11, 5-5 America East) and marks the second-straight season sweep of Binghamton, which saw a two-game winning streak end.

The Bearcats (4-21, 3-7) hadn’t led since the first half but cut a 17-point Hartford lead down to 47-45 when Yosef Yacob scored the second of two 3-pointers.

Justin Graham and Taylor Dyson scored back-to-back 3s for Hartford, then Sikma and Wroe pushed the lead back to eight, 59-51 with two minutes left. Magnus Richard hit a 3-pointer for Binghamton with no time left.

Jack Hobbs led Hartford with 12 points and Graham added 11. Sikma added nine points and seven rebounds.

Romello Walker and Justin McFadden led Binghamton with 13 points each.
