CHICAGO (AP) - Children aged three to 11 will be admitted to the Museum of Science and Industry without charge this month.

Two kids per one paying adult will get in free through Feb. 28.

Museum officials say February is a good time to escape the house during the height of winter. The museum has a new permanent exhibit called “Numbers in Nature.” Visitors will discover that mathematical patterns are everywhere while getting lost in a mirror maze.

Visitors may also run in a human-sized hamster wheel, see lightning strike - inside - manipulate a tornado, climb inside a historic train locomotive and see baby chicks peck out of their shells.

Adults seeking to claim the special offer and get a voucher should visit the museum’s website.
