WALLACE, W.Va. (AP) - Fire officials say a Jan. 17 fire that left three dead in Wallace is not considered suspicious.

Acting Deputy State Fire Marshal Patrick Barker said the cause of the fire is undetermined because of the extensive damage that the home sustained. He said no further investigation is planned.

The Exponent Telegram (https://bit.ly/1wZQuKc ) reports that a Wallace fire official said the deadly fire is not considered suspicious.

The victims of the fire were 34-year-old David Crock and his 7-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son.

A female adult remains hospitalized.
