OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A baby orangutan at an Omaha zoo has been named Surianna.

Zookeepers have announced they selected Brayden Porter’s submission for the female Bornean orangutan, born in November at the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. Officials say more than 1,500 names were submitted.

Visitors can see Surianna, nicknamed Suri, with her mother, Sepilok.

The zoo also is hosting another contest for three African lion cubs, one female and two males. Entries are being taken until Saturday on the zoo’s website. Officials plan to announce winners Feb. 16.
