ENID, Okla. (AP) - The Enid City Commission is hosting Enid Cares-Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Wednesday’s event in the Grand Ballroom at Convention Hall features keynote speeches by Oklahoma Department of Public Safety Commissioner Michael Thompson and district attorney Mike Fields.

Agencies being represented are the local Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Garfield County Sheriff’s Department, Enid Police Department, North Enid Police Department and Vance Air Force Base security forces. 

The Enid Police Department Color Guard will be presenting the colors and the Enid High School Show Choir will also perform.
