NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Police in northern Ohio say a plow pushed a heap of snow off a bridge and onto a vehicle passing below, shattering the windshield and crushing part of the car.

Robert Morgan of Elyria (eh-LEER’-ee-uh) tells The Chronicle-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1DvnvTj ) that the snow fell onto his vehicle Sunday as he traveled along state Route 10 with his fiancee and two young sons. He says they weren’t hurt, but the car was badly damaged.

North Ridgeville police confirmed the details of what happened. They say it isn’t considered a crash and the plow driver won’t be charged because no harm was intended.

City officials are reviewing what happened.
