SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a man was killed when the car he was driving hit the rear of a dump truck in Smyrna.

It happened about 10:20 a.m. Friday on US Route 13. Troopers say 58-year-old Charles Kobosko of Smyrna was driving south when his car drifted partly into the left-turn lane.

Police say Kobosko’s car hit the rear of a dump truck which was stopped in the left-turn lane. Kobosko’s car spun around and came to a stop.

Kobosko was taken to a local hospital, where he died. The driver of the dump truck, 57-year-old Joseph Dimattia of Millsboro, was not hurt.

The crash is under investigation.
