HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - An explosion at a north Alabama fireworks manufacturer has killed two people and injured several others.

The explosion happened late Friday morning at Ultratec, a fireworks manufacturer in Madison County.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office tells WAAY-TV (https://bit.ly/1ACoR1s ) that three people had minor injuries. One of the victims was taken to the burn center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital for treatment.

The identities of the deceased have not been released. A 1999 explosion at the facility killed one person.
