OCEAN GROVE, N.J. (AP) - A fire in the business district of a coastal New Jersey town has been placed under control.

Officials say the fire at a stretch of retail buildings was placed under control Friday evening after the roof of a building collapsed and one firefighter suffered a minor injury.

The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately known.

Ocean Grove First Aid Squad Lt. Tina Duda told the Asbury Park Press that a firefighter suffered a knee injury and was taken from the scene to be treated.
