BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A para-educator at the Champlain Valley Union High School in Hinesburg is facing charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.

Twenty-five-year-old Julianne Graham of Burlington pleaded not guilty Friday to three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and unlawful restraint.

Graham is charged with having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy starting in the summer of 2014.

CVU says Graham has been placed on administrative leave.

WCAX-TV reports that Graham was released on the conditions that she not contact the victim and not go near the school.

It could not be immediately learned if she had a lawyer.
