BRYAN, Texas (AP) - Allen quarterback Kyler Murray and Cedar Hill linebacker Richard Moore are the players of the year on the Texas Sports Writers Association’s 6A football team.

Murray, who signed with Texas A&M; on Wednesday, threw for 4,713 yards with 54 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He added 1,495 yards rushing with 25 scores in leading 16-0 Allen to the Division I title.

Moore, who is already enrolled at A&M;, had 34 tackles for losses, including 16 sacks in leading Cedar Hill to the Division II state title.
