NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are looking for men who robbed two Newark convenience stores at gunpoint.

The first happened about 10 p.m. Sunday at a 7-Eleven on Four Season’s Parkway. Troopers say three men, two of them armed with handguns, demanded money from a clerk.

Police say the clerk gave the robbers money from the cash registers. The three men then fled on foot.

Officers say the second robbery occurred about 70 minutes later at a 7-Eleven on East Chestnut Hill Road. Authorities say three men, two with handguns, demanded money from two clerks.

Police say the clerks gave the robbers money, and one of the men took items from the store’s shelves. The robbers then ran away.
