FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas’ men’s basketball team moved back into The Associated Press poll this week after a pair of 20-point victories.

The Razorbacks re-entered the rankings at No. 24 after defeating Mississippi State 61-41 on Saturday. Arkansas held the Bulldogs to nine points in the first half, with Mississippi State hitting just 2-of-21 shots from the field in the first 20 minutes.

Last Tuesday, Arkansas beat South Carolina 75-55.

Arkansas has won five of its last six games. A last-second defeat at Florida spoiled the run.

The Razorbacks will put their new ranking on the line Tuesday night at Auburn and Saturday at Ole Miss.

Kentucky tops the rankings. Arkansas travels to Kentucky on Feb. 28.
