BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - People in parts of the Dakotas could have a slick commute early Tuesday.

The National Weather Service says there is a chance of freezing rain late Monday and early Tuesday from northwestern North Dakota to southeastern South Dakota.

Forecasters say one tenth of an inch of ice could accumulate in some areas.

One South Dakota woman has already made the best of an icy situation.

The Argus Leader reports Claremont resident Jennifer Wegleitner strapped on some ice skates on Sunday and took to County Road 9 near her home. Wegleitner says the ice was so thick she couldn’t drive to church, so she skated around on the road instead.

Her daughter joined her on the road in her boots while her husband filmed her skating on her impromptu rink.
