BUFFALO, Wyo. (AP) - A search continued Monday for a 4-year-old girl who reportedly fell through the ice on the Powder River at an Interstate 90 rest stop east of Buffalo.

Johnson County officials say the girl and her father were walking across the river at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday when they fell through the ice. The father was taken to the hospital and treated for hypothermia.

KROE-AM reports (https://bit.ly/1AccyHN) about 75 divers and others searched for the girl until midnight and about 45 people resumed the search Monday.

Sheriff Steve Kozisek says Natrona County volunteered the use of an airboat while crews used chainsaws sledgehammers to break up the ice until heavier equipment arrived.

Officials have not released the names of the father and daughter, but Kozisek says they are residents of a hotel at the rest stop.
