BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - Amtrak says its passenger train service between Bellingham, Washington, and Vancouver, British Columbia, has been temporarily canceled because of a mudslide on the tracks.

In a statement Monday, Amtrak says its Amtrak Cascades trains are expected to resume service on the tracks on Wednesday evening after BNSF Railway reopens them. Charter bus service is being provided in the meantime.
