FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Tyler Larson scored 14 points on 5 of 12 shooting from the field to lead South Dakota to a 64-62 victory over IPFW on Saturday night.

Trailing 61-59 IFPW in the final 10 seconds, IFPW had an opportunity to tie the game when Isaiah McCray was fouled by South Dakota’s Eric Robertson. However McCray would make just 1 of his 2 free throws, leaving the Mastodons still down one. After a foul by Mo Evans, Larson sank a pair of free throws, pushing the lead back to three to effectively close out the game for the Coyotes.

Casey Kasperbauer finished with 11 points for South Dakota (8-9, 2-1 Summit Conference), which has now won five of its last six games. James Hunter added 10 points and six rebounds.

Steve Forbes led all scorers with 24 for IFPW (8-9, 1-3), which has lost four of five.
