BALTIMORE (AP) - An ice rink in Baltimore is postponing its event to benefit Special Olympics Maryland.

The Waterfront Partnership Ice Rink at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor had been scheduled to host what it’s calling SkateFest 2015 on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. But officials say the event is being rescheduled for Wednesday because of the icy weather.

For a $5 donation, participants get admission to the rink and skate rental for two hours. All proceeds from the event benefit Special Olympics Maryland. The ice rink says there will be music, giveaways and refreshments during the event.
