PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) - Justin Colvin hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Alabama A&M; a 51-48 victory over Arkansas Pine Bluff on Monday.

Colvin made 1 of 2 free throws with 17.9 seconds left for a 48-45 lead. Pine Bluff’s Thaddeus Handley Jr. converted a three-point play with 11.6 left for 48-all, but was called for a blocking foul on Colvin’s drive to the basket.

Colvin missed the front end of a one-and-one with 3.2 seconds left, but the rebound went of Pine Bluff, setting up Colvin’s heroics.

Nicholas West and Colvin had 14 apiece for Alabama A&M; (4-10, 3-1 SWAC) and Ladarius Tabb added 10. West also had 14 rebounds.

Alabama A&M; won its third consecutive game after losing eight straight. Arkansas Pine Bluff dropped its fifth in a row.

Marcel Mosley and JoVaughn Love Arkansas scored 11 points each for Pine Bluff (3-14, 0-3).
