DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover Police have charged a driver with vehicular assault and his third DUI after a 3-vehicle crash that left a woman injured.

It happened about 2:55 p.m. Saturday on Walker Road near Saulsbury Road. Police say 35-year-old Antoine Collier of Dover was driving a Mercury Mountaineer westbound at a high rate of speed.

Officers say Collier’s SUV crashed into the rear of a Nissan Altima, which was pushed into the rear of a Jeep Cherokee.

Authorities say the driver of the Altima suffered back and abdominal injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Police say Collier was charged with 3rd Offense DUI after officers found he had been convicted of driving under the influence in September 2001 and June 2013.
