TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities have identified the victim of a rollover accident on Interstate 19 in the Sahuarita area south of Tucson.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say 31-year-old Armando Granillo, of Rio Rico, was a passenger in a car early Sunday that struck a tree in the highway’s median.

They say the driver reportedly entered the emergency lane, overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle, which then rotated counterclockwise before crashing into the tree.

The 28-year-old driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.

DPS officials say impairment is suspected and their investigation is ongoing.
