TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The University of Tulsa has announced that Baylor associate head coach Brian Norwood will be the Golden Hurricane’s co-defensive coordinator.

New TU coach Philip Montgomery says Norwood will join Bill Young as co-defensive coordinators. Montgomery will also coach safeties while Young’s additional duties include coaching the defensive line.

Norwood spent the past seven seasons at Baylor where he was defensive coordinator for three seasons and associate head coach for the past four years. Prior to Baylor, Norwood spent seven seasons as safeties coach at Penn State.
