OCEANSIDE, Calif. (AP) - The deaths of two people at a San Diego County mobile home have been ruled a murder-suicide.

U-T San Diego (https://bit.ly/14NXxzR) says the county medical examiner’s office has determined that 59-year-old Janet Choe was shot by a man who then killed himself.

The name of the 63-year-old man hasn’t been released pending notification of his relatives.

Police were asked to check on the woman’s welfare and found the bodies Wednesday night. Both had been shot in the head and a .357-magnum revolver was found next to the man’s body.

No suicide note was found.

Police say Choe once dated and lived with the man but had moved out. However, authorities say she returned to the mobile home the day before her body was discovered.
