DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman suspected of stealing suitcases from a baggage claim carousel at Daytona Beach International Airport.

Volusia County Sheriff’s spokesman Gary Davidson says the incident happened on Dec. 22.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://bit.ly/17DIdqr ) reports a woman with short brown hair who was wearing a red jacket took two suitcases that didn’t belong to her after her flight arrived from Atlanta. The woman is believed to be between 45 and 55 years old. She was seen getting into a green Honda Element.

Davidson says each bag contained $1,500 worth of specialized cat grooming equipment.
