TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A former youth soccer coach who admitted having hundreds of images of child pornography at his home has been sentenced to three years in prison.

Federal prosecutors say 50-year-old Jorge Roman, of Princeton, will also have to serve five years of supervised release once he’s freed from prison. The sentence was imposed Tuesday.

Roman had pleaded guilty last July to possessing child porn.

Prosecutors say Roman had 600 or more images of child sexual abuse on various DVDs, computers or other digital media at his Princeton home in May 2013. Among them were images of prepubescent minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
