GARLAND CITY, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say the body of a man found dead following a house fire in southwestern Arkansas has been sent to the state medical examiner for identification.

The Texarkana Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/14vwNmt ) that investigators say the body was found Sunday in the living room of the burned home in Garland City.

The fire was reported about 9 a.m. Sunday and firefighters say the home was engulfed in smoke when they arrived.
