SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a man arrested in Indiana after he and his two missing children were found will be returning to Delaware.

Troopers said Tuesday that Cortez A. Hamilton had waived an extradition hearing in Indiana and will be returned to Delaware. He is wanted on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of assault with serious bodily injury.

Hamilton’s children, 4-year-old Colette Hamilton and infant Cortez Hamilton Jr., were found Saturday in southwest Indiana. Authorities said they are safe and in good condition.

The children’s mother, Keisha Hamilton, was last seen with them on Friday night at their Smyrna home. Police in both states are still looking for the missing woman.
