ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - A man who stabbed two people in the parking lot of a Bethesda shopping mall during a road rage incident has been sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Twenty-six-year-old David Goldberg of Potomac was sentenced Tuesday in Montgomery Circuit Court. He had been convicted August on nine counts, including attempted voluntary manslaughter.

Prosecutors say the stabbings occurred after Goldberg got into an argument with two other people outside the Westfield Montgomery Mall in November 2013 following a near-collision. The argument began over who had the right-of-way at an intersection.

Police said Goldberg, who had his 2-year-old daughter with him, stabbed the other driver and his passenger.
