GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Police have identified a man killed at a Gainesville hotel as 52-year-old Harmon V. Lavender.

The Times reports (https://bit.ly/1y6YYGc) that an autopsy determined that Lavender, of Gainesville, died of multiple stab wounds.

Authorities say the homicide occurred Saturday at the Sun Suites Hotel in the northeast Georgia city. Gainesville police spokesman Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said a 911 call was placed around 2 p.m. Saturday by a Sun Suites employee.

Gainesville police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have been investigating. Authorities say no arrests have been made.
