SEATTLE (AP) - A petition from a Seahawks fan asks the NFL to revise its media policy so that Marshawn Lynch does not have to talk with reporters after a game.

The petition was posted Sunday on GoPetition.com and had more than 14,000 signatures by Tuesday.

It says Lynch has an obvious anxiety interacting with the media. And, since the NFL advocates against bullying and domestic violence it shouldn’t force its players into uncomfortable situations.

Lynch has been fined $100,000 for not talking to the media at times over the past two seasons. Recently he has answered questions by saying, “Thanks for asking” or “I’m thankful.”
